Ah the joys of being at home sick all weekend.

18 hours of World of Warcraft in two days (going up about 2 levels a day).

Watching my bootleg of Last Exile (this time with the proper dubs and subs intact.)

Reading some old friends journals (apparently they took some kind of unilateral action and deleted Angela from their friends list so I figured I'd take a gander at that nest for kicks. Oh the kicks I had.)

One funny thing from one of said journals is the quote "I miss the good old days of the multi." Uh what good old days would those be Troy? When you played in one of the shittiest bands in the universe, couldn't pay people to go to your shows (what am I talking about, I'm pretty sure you never played more than one show), and were universally hated by everyone in the local music scene? So what, it's 5 years later and you're almost bald and NOW is the time to dust off the old axe? Well shine on you crazy diamond!

And then there's psychobilly. Every trendy former Gloom Disco head on the face of the planet listens to that shit right now, as though it was invented today, and like no one thought of this shit before. I swear to god. I was talking to my idiot cousin, and she's like "oh yeah I used to be in to like Wolfshit and VD Nation but now I uh like Nerdomantix!" Dress a bunch of Swedes up like the Misfits and hand one of them a standup bass and suddenly every dickhead in black wants to give you a handjob.
